Megan Nordgren is originally
from Salt Lake City, Utah. She has an Associate's Degree in
Arts from Utah Valley State College and a Bachelor's of Fine
Arts Degree in Dance from Brigham Young University. She received
her Teaching Certificate from the University of Utah and taught
at Alta High School in Sandy, Utah, for three years where she
was also the advisor for the Ballroom Dance team.
As a child Megan was always
organized. Her mother never had to ask her to clean her room
(maybe she had to ask her to make her bed ONCE in a while).
Twice a year Megan would always clean her room and go through
everything. During the summer she had a little recipe box which
contained 3x5 cards with her chores listed on them. They were
separated by color for daily, weekly, and monthly items. Each
day she would go through her list and accomplish the day's chores.
Megan has an innate ability to organize, an innate ability she
has had since she was a child.
Megan believes that you can learn to be organized.
Anyone can do it - some just need the steps laid out in front of them.
As the advisor of a ballroom
team comprising of teenagers, Megan learned to use her organization
skills in managing time, people, equipment and hormones.
Since moving to Chandler, she
has shifted her primary focus to organizing, a skill she has
always excelled at and loved. She is a member of the National
Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and is Clear and
SIMPLE, Inc. certified.
